Westside Sporting Grounds is the perfect place to raise funds for your
favorite charity.
Our facilities are capable of handling events up to
500 shooters and their guests. We have had the opportunity to host many
successful charity events including Child Advocates Pull for Kids and
the Sam Houston Area Boys Scouts Annual Sporting Clays Classic.
Sporting clays is one of the best ways to entertain your employees
and valued customers.
A typical round takes one to two hours. Groups of all sizes can be
accommodated. Sporting Clays lets you visit with co-workers as you
progress around the course. We have a 5000 square-foot open barn which
looks across a half acre pond to the sporting clays course. It's the
perfect place to entertain a large group."

Corporate hospitality has become an
integral part of the marketing strategy for companies. A day in the
country clay target shooting offers a unique and exciting experience for
staff and clients.
Sporting Clays, sometimes called golf with
a shotgun is one of the fastest growing sports now in the US. It is
especially popular among Texas hunters giving it a try for the first
time. Westside Sporting Grounds is located west of Houston in a
beautiful country setting. Only 45 minutes from downtown Houston, one
would never believe this 167 acre, beautifully wooded, private shooting
club is the serene, scenic escape for which they search.
Westside Sporting Grounds
offers the perfect day for businessmen or women with a relaxing
enjoyable experience breaking clays. A corporate day includes a nice
drive out to the country, drink coffee or tea while our helpful staff
members give a briefing of the days events. Divide up into groups of
four to five and walk to a sporting clay station for one on one
instruction and practice with one of our qualified NSCA certified
instructors. Travel from station to station with your guide to
practice a different target presentation at each station. After a
morning of shooting your entire group meet in the big barn for a catered
lunch. Following lunch everyone participates in a friendly competition
of skills. You could even let the boss or favorite client win.
This is just one example of a “Corporate
Day”. We structure the event to each client’s individual requirements.
A half day includes shooting with instruction and practice, followed by
a team flush. Lunch, breakfast or afternoon tea is provided to your
order.

Price may include: A whole or half day of
shooting, all cartridges and clays, instruction and practice with NSCA
certified instructors, gun rental, hearing and eye protection, as well
as breakfast or lunch. If you prefer to arrange a catered lunch or
